It's been a while since my last tattoo post about Angelina Jolie tattos meaning. Now, I present you another tattoo queen: Kat von D. Some of you might not have been familiar with this figure, she is not just famous because of her tattoos that cover almost of her entire skin, but she is also a tattoo artist. So, if you want to be tattooed by a celebrity, just go to her shop and it will cost you about $500-$1000 for a portrait tattoo.

She was born as Katherine von Drachenberg on March 8, 1982 in Monterey, Mexico. She is best known for her work as a featured tattoo artist on the TLC reality television show Miami Ink. A subsequent TLC series starring Von D, LA Ink, premiered August 7, 2007 in the United States and November 11, 2007 in the UK.

"Four or five years ago going into a Dior store or, you know, you felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. People would stare, and it wasn’t because they were curious. Going to the mall was pretty hard. I think for a female especially, because it’s so much gnarlier than on a guy. On a guy it’s like, “Oh, he’s a wild one.” If it’s a girl it’s all the bad stigmas. You’re a hooker, you’re a drug addict, you were in jail."
Quote from Kat von D interview with PR.com about encountered prejudice from people, before she was famous, who would see her outward appearance and judge her because she is heavily tattooed.

You've seen her tattoos. Do you like it? Now, try to picture Kat von D without any tattoos. See the pictures below. Don't be mistaken, these pics were not taken before she did her skin with tattoos. It's because she's using Sephora, her own label tattoo concealer. "If you’re free to express yourself via your tattoos, you should have the freedom of covering them up when you want", said Kat von D about her makeup product.
