Queens of the Stone Age have been announced as the headline act for the Rolling Stone magazine showcase on March 16.
The band recently departed from their long-term deal with Universal Music and will release their self-titled 1998 debut again on their own Rekords Records next month.
Mini Mansions, Black Angels and J. Mascis will also performing at the Rolling Stone showcase.
SXSW Music starts March 16 in Austin, Texas.
